First, to set the record. As will probably become quite obvious, I am a complete amateur. I take photos because I enjoy doing it. Some of my stuff is very normal, and some of it is rather odd. This blog is for me to share my experiments and maybe get some tips as well. Please comment if you like/dislike/can recommend ways to improve my pictures.
For my first post, I thought I would show you one of my favourites kinds of photograph. There are few things I love more than seeing the first flowers and blossoms on the trees in springtime. Therefore I thought the best way to start would be with some of my pictures of the first blooms of spring.

| A daffodil in my front garden |
| The first blossoms on the tree in the back garden |
| I can't remember where I took this, but I love the contrast between the flowers and the blue of the sky |
| Taken on the tree outside the local house and gardens |
| I love how pretty and delicate these flowers are. |
| Bluebells in Whippendell Woods |
| I know strictly this isn't a flower, but I loved the look of this. It's just like a little faerie house amongst the bluebells! |

I hope you've enjoyed this first glimpse into my world!
